About Us
Originally established in 1999, we operated successfully under the same name in Southern California for many years. We went on a lengthy hiatus, not breeding for several years, and in the interim have relocated to sunny Orlando, Florida!
Unfortunately, due to our lapse in breeding, we lost the lines we had worked so hard to establish (which included Siamese, Russian Blue and a lovely little Harley Dwarf line). After you have worked so hard to establish and build upon a line, it is difficult to break back in - starting from the ground up yet again. Yet, here we are! This time we have decided to begin with a few lines into which we will pour our energy.
As before, we intend to work toward AFRMA standards insofar as variety, type and conformation. Health and temperament has, and will always be a priority for us.
It is our intent to have each of our lines in both Standard and Dwarf size and in Standard, Rex and Harley coats. We have obtained all of our current breeding rats from established ratteries in our area and as far away as Ohio. Eventually, we would like to see a branch of the AFRMA pop up on our coast, but for the time being there are likely not enough ratteries established in Florida for that to be a worthwhile investment of time and money.
